Paraswammerdamia albicapitella  (Sharfenberg, 1805)

Flight period: July.     Forewing: 4.5 to 6mm.

Habitat: Scrub, hedgerows and woodland.

Larvae: Mine Blackthorn in September, over winter, then feed externally. They  pupate in late May.

White thorax distinguishes it from other spp.
