Ochsenheimeria taurella (D
& S, 1775)
Although no other species have as many raised scales on
the forewing as this moth, the females of
Ochsenheimeria urella do have some raised scales and
as in this species, long scales on the basal part of the
antennae (which are not visible in the picture). These
scales are more than three times the width of the antennae
shaft in
Ochsenheimeria taurella, but less than that in
Ochsenheimeria urella.
