                       Apple Fruit Moth                         Argyresthia conjugella  Zeller, 1839

Flight period: May to July.

Forewing:  4.5 to 6.5mm.

Habitat: Woods, orchards, mature hedges.

Larvae: In the fruit of Rowan and Apple, from Late June until September. It overwinters as a pupa in a silk cocoon under bark or soil.
