Argyresthia trifasciata  Staudinger, 1871

Flight period: May and June.

Forewing:  3.0 to 4.5mm.

Habitat: Parks and gardens

Larvae:  From late June inside the leaves and shoots of Juniper and Cypress species, causing the shoots to go brown. It resumes feeding in the spring, pupating in April.
