Leek Moth
Acrolepiopsis assectella (Zeller,
1839)
Flight period: June, July and October to April.
Forewing: 10 to 6.5mm.
Habitat: Gardens and allotments.
Larvae: In May, June or August to October it mines the
leaves, then bores into the stem or bulbs of onion, leek
or garlic.
