Mompha subbistrigella (Haworth,1828)

Flight period: Throughout year (hibernates).

Forewing:  3.25 to 5.25mm.

Habitat: Waters edge, woodland clearings, gardens and wasteground.

Larvae: During July and August in the seed pods of Broad-leaved, Hoary, Square-stalked and Marsh Willowherb.
