Mompha miscella ([Denis & Schiffermüller],1775)

Flight period: Mid-May,June Mid-July, August

Forewing:  3.25 to 4mm.

Habitat: Downland, cliffs & disused quarries.

Larvae: Mine the leaves of rock-roses.

Unique due to the pale-tipped scales and the choice of foodplant.
