Caloptilia leucapennella (Stephens, 1835)

Flight period: July until the following May.

Forewing:  5.5 to 6.5mm.

Habitat: Coastal woods, planted woodland, old gardens and parkland

Larva: Mines the leaves of Holm Oak. Later feeding externally in a hanging 'cone' at a leaf tip.
