Caloptilia stigmatella (Fabricius, 1781)

Flight period: September until following May.

Forewing:  5.5 to 6.5mm.

Habitat: Scrub and carr.

Larva: Mines leaves of willows, sallows, poplars, Aspen, occasionally birch, then  forms a 'cone' on willows, sallows, Black Poplar, but rolls leaf edge on other poplars.
