Caloptilia robustella  Jäckh, 1972

Flight period: Mid-April and May, then August

Forewing: 4.74 to 6mm.  

Habitat:  Wooded areas with deciduous oak.

Larva: Feeds on oak from May until July and September/October, at first in a leaf mine then later in a curled down 'cone' formed from a section of leaf. It overwinters as a pupa.
