Caloptilia azaleella  (Brants, 1913)

Flight period: May until early November in at least two generations.

Forewing:  4.5 to 5mm.

Habitat: Gardens, scrub and wooded areas.

Larva: June to November in a leaf mine on Azalea and Rhododendron, later in a curled down fold of a leaf. Overwinters as a pupa.
