Caloptilia betulicola  (Hering, 1927)

Flight period: Late June and July then from September overwintering and surviving until April.

Forewing:  6 to 7mm.

Habitat: Wetland scrub and wooded areas.

Larva: July and May in a leaf mine on birch, later in a leaf cone formed at a leaf tip.
