Caloptilia populetorum (Zeller, 1839)

Flight period: Late August until following May.

Forewing:  5.5 to 6.5mm

Habitat: Moorland, heathland and birch scrub.

Larva: Mines the leaves of birch, later feeding externally in a rolled leaf edge then lter the whole leaf.
