Leucozona glaucia  (Linnaeus, 1758)

Flight period: June until September.

Body:   9.5 to 12.5mm. Males have cream-grey rather than blue bands on the abdomen.

Habitat: Tall vegetation along wood edge.

Larvae: Terrestrial larvae  that are predatory on aphids.
