Eristalinus aeneus (Scopoli,1763) T.L.& B.L.

Eristalinus sepulchralis has a proportionately shorter  abdomen which in males has a  dull black central area (rather than all glossy bronze-black). It often has grey thoracic stripes, and has hairs on the lower (as well as upper surface of the eyes). T.R. & B.R.
