Flight period: May until August.

Body: 6.5 to 7.5mm.

Habitat: South facing, limestone downland, sandy cliffs, river banks and occasionally heathy banks.

Larvae: A parasite of bees in the genus of Lasioglossum spp. and Halictus spp.
